What is Footnote?
- Footnotes are indicated by a small number that appears as superscript in the text. It is part of all components that have rich text field.
- The footnote itself will be displayed at the bottom of the page as references and can contain links. If there are multiple footnotes on a page, they are numbered automatically and appear in a footnote area at the bottom of the page.
- If there are many footnotes, the first and last numbers are displayed with a dash in between.
- When you click on a footnote in the text, a small box called a tooltip appears with the footnote number and the text of the footnote. If the footnote contains a link, you can click on it to open it in a new window.
- Footnotes headline text color can be authored at locale as per requirement, please reach out to DCM to update. If not authored at locale it will take scope-text color as defalut color.
